  1. I wouldn't. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/Foxy9212/Miscellaneous%20Cars/19575b.jpg Not really. Penny
  2. Happy 21st - have a great day. Penny
  3. Marky Mark asked if I would vote for a BNP candidate if he filled all the criteria I mentioned in my previous post - my honest answer would be a resounding "No" as I believe the BNP to be a one-trick-pony that would never be in a position to form a viable government. They put forward so-called policies that they know would be popular with the rank and file but, in my opinion, none is feasible. I received only the yellow/red leaflet that makes no mention of any local candidate so I have no idea who is standing in my ward; perhaps they know they stand no chance of election here after the one and only time they captured a seat using false information to do so. However much as I loath everything the BNP stands for, they are a legitimate political party and, therefore, free to pedal their propaganda and it is not for me to say whether people should support them. There are far too many people who just sit on their hands, don't cast their votes and then moan about those who others elect. Hopefully this latest expenses debacle will give politicians the shake-up they need; it's high time they realized they work for us and not vice versa. Vote for who you like but, please, don't just note what the parties say they are going to do for you, make sure you know just how they propose to do it and decide whether you're being fed the whole truth and not handed a plate full of Bull! Penny
  4. I read my BNP leaflet too and there's not a single mention in it about what they proposed to do regarding my local area - they seem to be focusing on what they consider to be national issues. These are Local Council Elections and to elect a Local MEP. Local Council members have little or no influence over the Commons or the Lords. When casting my vote for my local councillor I want to know about him or her; whether he lives locally, for how long, what schools his children attended etc., and what local issues he is particularly interested in. The BNP seem to be labouring under a misapprehension as, it would seem, do many of their supporters. Penny
  5. Thank fcuk! A BNP yob was elected to the council in my area a couple of years back; hundreds of local people turned up to 'welcome' him to his new seat! He never got within a mile of the place. The media turned up and turned the whole thing into a circus; the police escorted him away and he lost his seat in the next council elections together with his deposit. He was elected to represent a large local council estate purely because he campaigned on the basis that hundreds of 'illegal immigrants' were about to be re-housed on said estate; it was shown to be a complete fabrication of course and left his supporters with egg on their faces. The BNP is a single agenda party and wouldn't have a clue how to run a bath!! Fortunately there are people who know just a little about politics, both local and national, who will make sure these mental cripples never have any power in this country. I doubt very much if they'd have a clue what to do if they win an election - they are sabre rattlers without a single working brain cell between the lot of them. Just my own personal opinion of course. Penny
  6. How did he get his name? My son bought him in '92, parked him outside the house and I just said "Blimey, that's a bit of an Eric!" It stuck! "Eric The Escort" just 'suits.' ........ and, Cargy, I sallied forth to the garage with a fist full of dollars I didn't need ... this time!! Penny
  7. Hoppy Bathday and many happy returns. Penny
  8. I'm very well thanks, even better now I shan't be an ex-motorist just yet. Penny
  9. Well you could knock me down with a fevver! Eric passed his MoT today - perfick! Penny
  10. Merry Christmas Everyone http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/Foxy9212/WP%20Images/FatAngel640.jpg Penny
  11. All the diddy witches have gobbled up all my sweeties!
  12. Ditto PeeWee! I thought at first it was just a storm in an A-cup but having read the transcript of the 'phone calls I'm disgusted with the pair of 'em and the producers too. Both Brand and Ross come across as a couple of silly schoolboys making dirty calls from a 'phone box. They're obviously suffering from arrested development - I'd recommend counselling. Penny
  13. Nice to be back PeeWee. I shall take some more pix when and if it ever stops raining. Penny
