  1. looks like a hyundai coupe with a daft grill, with the effort they put in it could have been so much better
  2. wont it look a bit odd without the wheels properly spaced? i mean there is a good 3 inch of arch extention each side there, what wheels are you going for?
  3. so the original arches are still under the new ones?
  4. but on a normal spare wheel you're allowed over 50mph my girlfriends fiesta has a spare steel the exact same size as her alloys
  5. all depends on engine spec really
  6. thats what i was thinking, a re-jet yes and ideally some aftermarket ignition managment
  7. well mondeo ST24's had 16" alloys so if they had a spare steel then it would have to be 16" wouldnt it?
  8. they would physically fit but they would need re-jetting and on a 1.6 it'd be pretty pointless anyway without headwork
  9. now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=003 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v24/dan1281/001-1.jpg
  10. ah well never mind, my interior is shagged so if i can find some cash soon i'll have them, i'm not that far from lancaster either
  11. dont fancy a set of carbs do you Dan?
  12. its hard to say really, i'd say it would be as quick as a 2.0 if not more, i had them on my std engine with a 1.6 exhaust and it made a hell of a difference, what you would be better doing is converting to a 2.0 then using the carbs, we did that to a gti a year or so ago and it was faster than a cammed up RS2000 that we had at the time
