Ah! I wondered why mine jumped up. I dont have any negatives but did have duplicated seller ratings. Anyway. I totally totally disagree with ebays new policy. How dare they! they are complete morons. Ill explain... This week I was selling an N95 black I got some bids and of course the highest bidder only have 0 feedback. I cancelled his bids as I looked at his bid history and he was bidding on every thing. It turned out his max bid was £900 for a phone that sells for £260. Then somone with some feedback does the same. But he too was bidding on a lot of stuff at the same time. So I cancelled. Again he had bid up to £900 and was from america. So if sellers cant leave neg feedback, how are we supposed to stop these people! Another story now from a sellers angle. This fecking paypal dispute fiasco. Seller sells a phone, accepts paypal, sends recorded etc. Seller waits for feedback, and then 6 weeks later charge back.... Seller loses the money. and has to wait for paypal to decide the outcome for 6 weeks. What is the seller supposed to do about that? leave positive feedback for them? There is a reason why many sellers now dont accept paypal. Even though ebay make it compulsory now for lots of things. There is also a reason why new auction sites are popping up all the time.... Ebay are scamming W&nkers Has anyone reported a blatently dodgy listing? Or reported someone for phishing? I have, the auction gets shut down which is good, the user gets blocked which is good. Do I get any thanks? Do I f*ck! I prevented some poor sod getting fleeced and no reward. and ebay obv arent monitoring well enough.
