Any dame to the actuall lights cracks chips corrosion inside? Lenses look ok and no damage but I can see some signs of corrosion in them. You have to look close though.

Got these and don't really know why! The outer casings have been painted 3 times by what looks like a blind man, and the look a mess. F*cking brilliant car, although I had the b6 shape (2001 on) It had done 228k when I'd finished with it, and I abused the hell out of it. It was a 1.9 130 tdi, and always did 50mpg all day long. I drove it to Scotland and back in a day to fetch a beetle, didn't miss a beat. Mechanical wise, that 1.9 PD engine were used in most other VAGS, so parts are Pee easy to find, and not dear. They feel solid, and drive lovely. The biggest thing to check is when the DMF was last done, and maybe a turbo. But it's the DMF that will spank you if it goes, everything else IMO is no more expensive to fix than anything else. Right little update. Bit more detailing to get the paint back. It will need some bodywork doing at some point in the future, there's some bits I'm just unhappy with. But, I want it back to being a complete car. So first job was get a black bumper, add the old Laguna splitter back on and bolt it on. The keen eyed will notice I've got rid of the morrettes. I'm not sure about this yet. To make the front end a bit different, added an RS grill. Unsure about this too!! Cleaned up the brakes a bit with a brush, and going to let a few little runs clean them up. I'll have to inspect them after to look for serious pitting, hopefully they're ok. Now, wheel choice. Unsure again! Mind was set on EsCos wheels or RS7's, but I've done that before. I've been very into my VW's, and I do love a bbs wheel, so I've bought some. The jury is out, I'm really unsure. They need smaller tyres to get them to tuck in a bit. So that's the next thing. Cheers for the offer mate but that's more than I want to pay. I already have a full magnex system, that's mint, it's only the tail pipe that's annoying me. It looks like I can just remove the tailpipe and have another welded on, but I didn't want to cut up a perfectly good exhaust just because of a tailpipe.
