I'm with Morethan, i'm also 18 and my insurance is £1300 a year (or £1200 if paid off in one lump). This was a recent renewal as before I was on a young drivers policy which prevented me from even putting a different head unit in the car! More than are happy with my "cosmetic" mods e.g spoiler, skirts, spats and alloys for no extra cost. They don't accept performance/handling mods I don't think. how comes you had your bike anyway? do you get the train to work these days? I have to move home again soon as our landlord is kicking us out so he can re-do the house, so driving the car to work every day now is not an option as it works out cheaper to get on my bike and use the train!
