  1. is there anywhere I can download a set of schematics for your car/model...I will happilt have a look and see if there is anything obvious it could be.
  2. you can cut a tiny square of tape.. iirc you need to drop the voltage down to 1V on standard off the shelf leds

  5. I know yours do mate, think youve done a great job, i was meaning that for Kevins consideration tbh its hard getting an older cabbie to sound any good at all, on mk3/4s front speakers are singing to yer ankles and rears are in free air cos theres nothing behind the pods you can see. good luck with the DA's hope they sound great for you, were they new?
  6. nice job bongo, great place to have em. you really need yer tweeters pointly roughly at you or middle of car as they are fairly directional. On me cab I fitted them to the roll bar. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i280/mickc65/14102007218.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i280/mickc65/14102007223.jpg Its great you got know how much you want to spend, best thing for you to get is the £70 pair of speakers that sound best to you. If you interested my rears are pioneer TS-E136C and should be coming down in price now pioneer have brought out new model.
  7. PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT A CARAVANER but a lot of caravaner types use a little device that diverts power to whcihever of the 2 batteries need it, they are only 20quid so worth it, google split charge relay like meeksta said. are you going to be playing music mainly when stationary??? May be starting something here but I always thought it was alternator power you mainly use when on the move. if so and they are availabele for your model car, swap for higher output alternator may be a simpler solution for loud cruising.
  8. dont blame yer trig...instaed of buying august 2009s FF dig out august 2008s 90% of it will be the same and you save a couple of quid
  9. to clean the inside I have heard of people using Miltons (used to sterilise babies bottles pmsl) have seen some "as good as new pics" from it
  10. I picked these up from a beefy lorry driver on the M25 last night. Big Thankyou to Neil for putting me in touch with Gaz, I owe you a pint if we meet mate, but in the meantime get one out of Gaz. I only need the front, so back ones up for grabs if anyone fancies it.
  11. pmsl wots is it with red drums.....these are waiting to go on mine http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i280/mickc65/011220072101-1.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i280/mickc65/011220072111.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i280/mickc65/011220072124.jpg
  12. as long as belts are tight... regulator on altenator, battery is holding charge and alternator is obviously charging it ok.
  13. it is more than a wask...I like the 9th pic down...rear quarter still looks wet...good going to get wet look on white. be carefull with polish on such a new car tho, as long as its kept clean with some wax coat it'll be fine.
  14. looks okay in thumbnails...cant see the engine.......car looks 88spec front with series 2 sidesskirts/arches and non ford spoiler, smoothed bonnet with grills (are they original??? look low) and rear lifters...recaros look in good nick....is the roof blue??? but I am having to squint pmsl
