i doubt it mate, it wont reverse the locking mechanism i was thinking that cos i lock it with passanger side at mo, so if i swop it 2 drivers side y wud it chabge anything bout the sucurity Buy a new lock kit from ford £25 or so and build it up to original key the tumblers have numbers on 1-4 strip the old lock down carefully keeping the tumblers in the order thay came out and build your new lock up the same after each tumbler there is a spacer in between or read your key if it not too worn 1=no cut in key 4=deepest u should be able to work 2&3 out there are 6 cut in the key easy mate just bit fiddly

Yes had same problem ford design fault on suspension fit powerflex nylon uprated bushers and if the cars lowered modifiy the bottom arms by moving the ball joints in 10mm you have to grind the rivets out re drill the holes and cut the end of the arm to fit the ball joint bring the camber back to near orignal position if lowerd about 40mm

You should have no problems with the mot as long as emisions are ok air box drilled or bottom cut off

Had bf goodrich 205/40/16 on mine good grip wet or dry + last well too would think 195`s would be very tight on rim side walls

You shouldnt have any probs if you fit 195/45/16 ran my old escort with them 40mm lower thay were fine I think yokohama sdrives are about cheapest good brand make tyre
