  1. It's ok it's already out of warranty, it's a 10plate s1600 http://passionford.com/forum/restorations-...-be-mapped.html
  2. Yeah, that's quite a build he has done.
  3. Going to get the Mountune intercooler and their cat back exhaust when it's released. Hopefully their stage 2 will be warranty friendly then I would get that too. Ordered a splitter for it but they take a while to make.
  4. Have you driven one? And there is not many about. No I haven't and wouldn't. Power sounds nice but from the outside a bit dull. And I have to admid I have issue with new cars. So because of that it's my opinion. That's fine as it's your opinion, I suppose anything compared to your escort is a bit dull. Lol. It is, reminds me of the RS turbo from years back only better. Did look at the focus ST but it's too big for what we need, this is almost the same size as the GTI we had.
  5. Have you driven one? And there is not many about.
  6. Finally got the Mountune kit fitted and an intake hose. Pleased with the power and torque it made, car pulls a lot more and feels like a different car even with the modest gains. http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x325/mark_weaver1/a82800cdd5206b7407494d7d5b2d337d.jpg http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x325/mark_weaver1/a30f64761e36498e634de8db079e0ad1.jpg On Jamsports rollers http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x325/mark_weaver1/c52d6fcb4e5d2c49b5d03a6faec97428.jpg 217bhp & 261lbsft http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x325/mark_weaver1/4127e2e6d17b4c944b4e16069ea47980.jpg
  7. It's only four wires at that connector, there are wires to go to each side of screen and the wires from battery to relay behind battery.
  8. Yes you could do that. That's only if the car doesn't have ACif it does it's all combined.
  9. The plug near the wiper motor is for the AC and screen or just the screen or just the AC. There is 12 wires in the plug, I think the top 4 are for the screen, the others are for the AC. It would be easier to find a car without AC to get the loom out of, as the AC wiring goes all around the bay. If your car has AC the plug will already be in use for that, so you would need to cut and join the screen wires, these wire are only to switch on the relay.
  10. Did the car you were trying to take it out of have aircon? If so the screen and AC wiring is in the same loom so will be a pain to remove. If not then the loom only goes up to the bonnet hinges where it then plugs into the screen, some have extra wiring for heated washer jets
  11. Yes hatch interior will fit an estate, 5dr door cards are a straight swap.
  12. Added a bit more blue http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x325/mark_weaver1/a30f64761e36498e634de8db079e0ad1.jpg
  13. I think it's to stop car getting airborne when they run into the back of another, eg webber at Valencia.
