For sale is my Escort cosworth replica. I've had the car 4 months which i have spent getting the car ready for the MOT, which it had on Monday 5th July. It passed with only 1 advisory, which was a tire is nearing legal limit. It has 6 months TAX which was done on Monday also. I have driven the car around and it drives perfectly, but the suspension is hard so be warned. What i can think of about the car is as follows: Done a very low 85,000 no rust anywhere! resprayed in 1 off baby blue paint. Brand new mohair roof 2 years ago Genuine cosworth front arches, sideskirts and rear arches. Genuine rear bumper Genuine Bonnet and vents Replica front bumper Autometer gauges though out Custom Konig black and silver leather effect seats front and rear Custom door cards on the rear 18" spirit alloys resprayed artic white with low profile tyres (nearly all tyres are excellent) st 170 front brake calipers and rs2000 rear calipers with brembo caliper covers Grooved disks all round with brand new pads Gaz coilovers lowered upto 100mm Genuine ford Van lower arms 6.5 vibe speakers 2 litre zetec mondeo engine MTX75 gearbox Custom water top up tank Lightened flywheel and uprated cts clutch Custom air filter 4-1 Exhaust manifold with custom de-cat New alternator and starter motor Toad cat 1 alarm door poppers The only bad points on the car which is all that needs to be done to complete it for shows or maybe a magazine cover are: The fuel top up pipe is in the boot, I had the intention of building this into the boot build but haven't got round to it and to access the boot you have to unhook the boot latch as I haven't wired up the electric boot release mechanism. The electric boot mechanism will be supplied. There is no power steering as it was removed to accommodate a 2.1 zetec turbo conversion that was lined up. You get used to it but if used to power steering can feel weird! But makes for a much better driving feel. There are a few scuffs around the car that if you want the car looking perfect need sorting, nothing major but up close you can notice them worse being a crack in the front splitter. I will supply some paint I have left. The car is very noisy! The custom induction kit and exhaust system cause this and they also make the car run a bit lumpy due to the amount of air coming in and out, ideally needs setting up on a rolling road where you should see 150bhp+ The Engine Bay needs a tidy up, Needs sanding down and spraying to the colour of your choice.
