Only problem being you may find you're paying insurance for a 1.8 GTi, as my mate had trouble with that, as insurance companies were insuring it as group 13!!!! This did seem to be the problem when applying for car insurance through comparison sites such as money supermarket. The spec of the car was comong back as a 1.8 GTi but this wasn't the case with direct line who i'm insured with. The car comes back as a 1.6 Gti with them.
