Its never been crashed or even seen track use, spent mostof its life tucked up in my garage and has done an average of about 2500miles a year while I've had it. I'm selling due to a lack of interest, time and losing my storage. I thought I would never sell this car afterthe thousands of pounds and probably thousands of hours of labour its had. It currently has no MOT, it expired a few months ago, however the shell issolid, it was plated a few years ago mainly on the passenger side chassisrail to a very high standard by a professional fabricator. All it wouldrequire to pass an mot would be a drivers seat and seat belt and probablya gearbox mount (which I might have in my spares). The car has: an RS2000 16v engine and gearbox (and wiring loom) installed, this is onaround 100k but can from a car with monsterous history (which i have)and had had a top and bottom end rebuild within the last 30k, it pullswell, starts first time and idles properly. It is fitted with an RS2000 4branch manifold, genuine RS cat converter a custom centre section and aMongoose 4" out rolled RS turbo rear box -sounds fanstatic The gearbox is sound and the drive shafts were fully rebuilt using genuineboots and spiders (over £100s parts) last year. The car also had new frontand rear wheel barings fitted within the last two years. The braking system is top notch, ST220 front calipers, drilled and groovedfront st170 discs, custom goodridge braided green hoses, XR3i 130 specmastercylinder and servo (MC was brand new ~£100) 90% kunifer brake lineswithin the last few years, RS2000 rear drilled and grooved discs. Genuineford pads front and rear. It also has an ODDKIDD brake servo support fitted The suspension, the car currently rolls on standard front and rear dampersand springs, but was fitted with coilovers. The car has every powerflexpolybush made for the escort fitted. The front wishbones are Ian HowellAREA SiX camber adjustable arms fitted with powerflex bushes (to my spec)It is also fitted with the bigger RS2000 front and rear roll bars. Also includedis an E-Tech alloy adjustable front strut brace. The body work is: RS accessory high spec front bumper, RS accessory hatchrear bumper. (both Genuine ford and made of ABS plastic) ABS platic RGM M3skirts. Custom Cyclone extra wide arches and an Escort Cosworth replicalower spoiler. It also sports a mk5a front end conversion with Cosworthlong range lamps and sidelights, clear RS2000 front indicators, Clear FocusRS side repeaters (genuine RS accessory fogs - not currently fitted, wiringis all there and mounts)A smooth cosworth style grill. Finally a very thickfibreglass direct fit cosworth style front splitter(not fitted). The paint work isn'tconcours, 95% of it could be brought up to scratch by a detailist. The car doesn't look shabby after a wash and polish. there is a small dentin the bonnet from the engine. though an RS2000 bulge bonnet comes with thecar. There are also one or two small dents here and there nothing noteworthythough. The paint work is cracked along the base of the spoiler two.Basically for a track car the bodyworks fine, but for show it would need thepaintwork looking at (and then sorting) (it also has a storm single wiper) The interior is bare. the dash, headunit dials and an after market steeringwheel are all there, but no seats and no trim. I do have a lot of trim inbags, but no seats. I do have all the seat belts and there hardware with thecar. It is fitted with retrimmed front door cards and alpine front speakersThe car does not come with wheels but i can include a set of Focus MP317" wheels with good tyres for £250 or the 16" compomotives for £450.The morettes are also available seperately for £200 The Car is located in North East Lincolnshire DN18 postcode area. I canarrange delivery at very good rates via a fully insured carrier. The carwill come with all the escort spares I have, including a gearbox and lots ofsmall parts / spares. The car needs to be viewed and paid for before I arrangedelivery. Just add some better suspension and you away with a cheap track car.I know it would break for more but I really would rather just sell it. £1000 take her away can i get a post so i can add more images http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/078.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/079.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/080.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/081.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/082.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/083.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/084.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/085.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/086.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/087.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/088.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/089.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/090.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/091.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/092.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/093.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/094.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/095.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/096.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/escortstreetracer/097.jpg Edited August 5, 2010 by PeeWee
