PeeWee
Some may have already noticed but Google have introduced its first Tablet called the Nexus 7. Great spec, nice screen quad core tegra 3 processor 12 core gpu, 1gig of ddr3 ram.\All this for £159. So anyone who fancies a nice 7" tablet without paying silly Apple money this is very much worth a look. https://play.google.com/store/devices/detai...gle-wide-banner
Stu
I've been considering one for my Mum but this unit is really designed as a client to Google Play. No expansion for storage means you're potentially limited if you don't want to use Play.
PeeWee
I would think 8gig should be enough for your mum or most actually, there's a 16 gig option for £199.Cloud storage makes these devices far more viable these days and google were not daft releasing the 5gig google drive free before the announced these. You can always use the mini usb with a thumb drive if it's needed too.Unless your likely to throw high end games that are over 1,5gig I find my 8 gig device ample enough.Im not quite sure what you mean by "limited" to play, surely play is pretty central to Android as a whole? DaweV6
I wonder if they will be more stable and durable than Nexus-6.
