Had some1 else look @ my engine the weekend because i still dont think its running like it should :S, when he had a look he sad the cam or sumthin is one tooth out, & the timin should be set to 8 - 10 degrees, thats why the car seems to run like a pile of pooh & over runs pretty bad?? anyone have any idea how i can resolve this problem??
take it to ford or somewhere and get the timimg reset
When mine was put back together Giles said that with all the new parts the timing had to be changed and was 10 degrees different to when it had the standard set up.

cause mine dont seem to have that much power & really eats fuel. how did u get your timing ajusted?

yours isn't the Zetec is it???

Bloke from Jondel race engines came round and set it all up with 2 or 3 complicated looking guages attatched all over the place!!!! (Cos of the twin cams)

Have you got a vernier pulley on yours skuzzie?? its meant to be really hard to set up timing on a lumpy cam without one because the timing needs to be really spot on. It shouldn't be as hard to do as ross's as yours is only a single cam, most garages with a bit of knowledge should be able to do it
