TommyT
I took my maf and air filter off today and found the maf and air intake pipe to be covered in oil from the breather pipe that comes out the top of the rocker cover. The car use to have a ecotech valve thingy on there when i got it and it never had this problem, since removing it, the pipe just fills with oil and is putting it all back into the system. Is it normal to have this much and would i be better off with replacing some sort of filter to reduce the flow?
Craig855S
think u have a blockage somewhere forcing oil to come out the breather.the oil that comes from the rocker cover goes into the bottom of the airbox into a little foam area.put new foam in the thing but i reckon u have a more seriosu problem
TommyT
It's a cone filter so it's just going straight into the MAF. how can i find where a blockage is or is it a job for a garage?

I can see this going somewhere.....please go on. when you changed ur rocker cover did you change, the little plate inside the rocker cover,, cause if you did'nt it will force oil out as well as air, it aint a problem tho, all you need to do is take ur rocker cover back off and put the plate back on ( if you still got ur old rocker cover)
