May 6, 200816 yr HI there all, My first post on here so i say hi to every one!!! Welcome to EVO I have the chance of a very clean MK5b so can i fit bonet and bumpers onto the new car and tailgate oh and interior? basicaly everything! Front will fit perfectly. the back bumper on the mk5a is a lot squarer than the 5b. Front seats, you will probably have to get some fiesta mk3.5 subframes for these. This will include front end subframe as i have a engine with the MTX box and a 3 litre in the garage to complete one day but more want to do the outer and inner and get rid of the Shite MK5b lights at rear! Engine and subframe, box, hubs brakes etc. Is a MK6 totaly different in shape to work?Pretty much the same. a few differences you will notice with a mk6 over a mk5 is suspension, everyhting else is pretty cosmetic. Is your mk5a XR3i a 105ps or the 130ps with mtx75 box and rear discs?

A picture paints a thousand words http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa83/michaeld4316/Image004.jpg Mk5 tailgate on a mk6 (same as 5b). You will need to change the panels under the rear lights to the mk5 ones Edited May 6, 200816 yr by Dubs
May 6, 200816 yr Author Yup i cannot believe how good this 1994 escort is. As its timing belt snapped over a year and its been in an underground garage here in British Army Germany ever since and is immaculate underneath and i mean immaculate. will the mk5a door fit the mk5b shell ? i am just confused with the rear end lol the xr3 kit is the best!!! 1xXR3I 150 Euro the mk5B FREE!!!! the MKA HAS THE 105 engine but mtx box so whole subframe gona get swapped. No she is a 105 PS 1992 with the MTX75 the MK5b is the normal gearbox so will swap over the front eend and no disk brakes but have axle
May 15, 200816 yr Author Ok simple enough front end now done and both rear light panels from ford for 40 squid that includes the frame and moulding in the bottom. body man said easy job as ive stripped car out as im getting the sills done before rust spreads to the rest of the car, but is still solid at the mo.
