For those that don't know this car was used as a feature in December 2007 as the buyers guide in performance ford, will include copy of magazine in sale if you don't already have one

On engine conversion following new parts were put in

2 new bottom arms

2 new track rod ends

Tracking recently done

2 Strut top rubbers

(owner wanted it to feel like a new car to drive after engine conversion)

brand new clutch put in during conversion

fresh oil

new oil filter

and one air freshener

 

the car drives with no rattles, knocks or not a tiny bit of smoke, it does drive like a new car

 

Also been lowered 40mm on gmax Gas suspension shock and springs

 

wheels in stunning condition 17" wolfrace wheels with all four matching tyres, Hankook Ventus Sport tyres, boughtfor £71 each , at least 6mm minimum of tread on every tyre

20 second interior/ map lights

ford fitted alarm

Ford original tape deck fitted

Price is £1150, open to serious offers, dont take the Pee and may take part ex if it helps guy who owns it is just bored now and wants a change, hes averages 26 cars a year although he kept the escort longer than the rest

That looks like it could be very nice with some mondeo 16's, rs2k interior, and a smaller exhaust.

 

How many miles had the engine done btw? Could be a good buy for somebody that. Good base to improve a few little bits! Does it have A/C?

No aircon, engine itself was on 76,000 when removed i removed it myself so i can confirm that as well! car on the clocks has 80,000.

 

i guess its each to there own taste really , he liked it like that but imo if it was my car i would stick some RS2k wheels on and put it on its arse
