Stu
Well you dont need anything special if you just want the audio.. get your favourite sound sampling software and set your recording mixer to mix from 'what you hear' or 'wave output'.. then it'll record anything you hear through the speakers. smithyandco
Firefox... check though the browser cache... usually large files after 'Youtubing' (1.5mb+) without file extensions... grab copies and give the file extension .flv then either play in VLC or re-encode in something like Xilisoft converters removing the video... Jobs a goodun!

Barry-334
even the basic windows sound recorder would have the facility to "record what you can hear". should do the job...

smithyandco
C:\Documents and Settings\*USER*\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*RANDOMSESSIONID*.default\Cache\ .... Easy! .. s'not a session ID, it's a UID. I've just assumed it's a session ID as FF starts a new folder for each session I'm on here... leaving me with *sessionid*.default\cache\ for one session and *new sessionid*.default\cache\ if I close all instances of FF and re-open in Firefox\Profiles\.It's a unique ID... yes as it's unique to each session. It's not a user ID as FF stores cache in the current users Local Settings directory. EG:C:\Documents and Settings\Plonker\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\orC:\Documents and Settings\Idiot\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ V2.0.0.14 if your interested... Stu
I just did the test you mention above and the directory doesn't change. It's a unique ID for the profile, hence it being in the profile directory.
