Wife’s just had her Tigra mot'ed so im going to do the work for her, so I have a few questions

 

1. Her car failed on both rear bearings having excessive play....could these be taken apart cleaned, repacked, and retightened…or would it be best to replace with new.

 

 

2. It also failed on the side indicators, being the incorrect colour..They are clear but with orange bulbs….seem ok with me, any idea on the law concerning side indicators?

 

3. Next it failed on emissions………

Exhaust emissions lambda reading, outside specified limits, Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content excessive, Exhaust emits excessive dense blue smoke during acceleration…….. Really lost where to start with this problem, also the exhaust system has a leak, would this cause readings outside specified limits?

 

I understand the car isn’t a Ford, but any help would be great

Just have them replaced, cheap and easy to do, esp if its taper bearings

This will be because the orange laquer/paint has flaked off the bulbs themselves, just replace them and youl see what i mean

Loads of areas to check here....what was the exact figures of readings for each??
