meekstaaa
Ok everyone whats the best way to fit number plates? I know they are held in by screw so no one try to be funny. Is there a way to hold them on without ugly screw holes (i don't really wanna use the screw caps either)

meekstaaa
Is the double sided tape strong enough to hold it? Also the same with velcro? I have some tacky show plates that i was gonna swap over for the shows is that the best bet or can i put them over the normal ones somehow? TommyT
I personally dont trust velcro or sticky tape especially on the front plate

1pukkadeal
I bought a roll of 5mm thick 3M sponge tape years back ,and its worked on every car without fail ,mind you when I bought it then it cost £4.99 for a 20metre roll ,when I contacted the local supplier they wanted £19.99 now ,so I will have to wait until im in the money again to stock up

MIKE W
I used sticky pads for ages and they never fell off, im now using Velcro pads so i can switch between my small plate and my legal one when i want and they have been on for ages and never fell off, really secure.... If your wanting to switch between show plates and legal ones go for velcro, if you dont plan on changing them, get the sticky pads.....You deffo dont want screws though, ruins your plate imo....
