ok garage says i need a new one as my fuel gauge has given up the ghost...they quoted me 240 for the part alone.

question is what can i expect to pay for a decent second hand one??? and how many hours labour should changing one take???

cheers guys in advance x

second hand one about £20.about an hour to get the tank down and fit.

i did the fuel pump on mine the other week took a good 5 hours on the floor

why didn't ford put a window under the back seat to allow easy access the the pump and sender :nutter:
