CV Gaiter

Jack up the car, remove the wheel, undo the 'pinch' bolt of the bottom ball joint, pop out the bottom ball joint, undo the 32mm nut on the driveshaft/CV joint. Pulling the hub to you use a punch or screwdriver to push the driveshaft out the back of the hub, then pull the driveshaft to one side slice the CV boot down the middle and pull off.


Now turn the driveshaft untill you can see a small cir (sp) clip on the cv joint prize that apart and the cv joint'l come off in your hand. Clean off the grease and fit the boot and the grease. Then put your car back together. After you have done the hubnut up jut use a punch and a hammer to 'Ping' the end of the nut over. :cheers:
