MC_Bob
Hey. Has anybody used the ST24 bumper and cut the exhaust out themselves? Just wondering what it looks like It kinda will cut into the grill if your using the stock shaped exhausts. Help is appreciated
sortedford
Only the super cheap ones come without it
MC_Bob
I was under the impression there were two types. Theres a guy not far from here with one for sale for very cheap.
TommyT
It's just added hassle and IMO doesn't look as nice. I have one with the hole already there and I love it like that. If it's going cheap enough though, get it. If not get one through evo (speak to stoo) he sorted mine out and it weren't too dear
MC_Bob
Well I was looking at getting one from here, but the one round the corner is just over 45 pounds Edited May 14, 2008 by MC_Bob
sortedford
We sell the best quality ones available and we dont offer one with no hole. The ones with no holes in are usually thin and have crap mounts (if they have any). Ours bolt straight on.
MC_Bob
Yeah I see, but cant really warrant 150ish for it. Only considering this one becuase of the price tbh
Tez162003
I have had both the one with the hole and the one without, YES the one with the hole is easier as it has the hole already there BUT they dont fit quite right width wise, im sure there are tons of people who can back that up! Tommy T for 1! BUT the un holed one fits like a glove! perfect width! but the down side is the exhaust hole!
MC_Bob
Hmm, My only worry is getting the exhaust hole cut out just right. I can adjust the high of the exhaust relatively easy, but not side ways. Want an idea of how much its going to cut into the grill aswel but I cant find any pics about it Cheers dude.
TommyT
As tez says the last one I had sat far too wide and the new one i'm not 100% happy with the height on one of the sides. I also bought a cheaper copy and it was so thin it arrived in 2 pieces!!! As all replicas are not going to fit exact unless you make them, best thing I would do is go and lign the one up that is for sale and see what the fit is like. if good then get it for that price. Better the devil you know than the one you don't!!!
Tez162003
typical, old and new next to each other but you cant see the old ones exhaust! lol. http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa87/tez162003/SP_A00031.jpg mine from memory never went into the mesh bit as i had it across abit and lower wasnt a hole but just cut into the bottom i think?? MC_Bob
Was that its natural position or was it a custom exhaust? Cheers for the help dude
Tez162003
dropped it down slightly but other than that not much else, no matter what bumper you get some jim foolery will be needed on the exhaust! as said earlier, drive there and put it up to the car, best if you takes yours off before going up there then its a 30 second job then either walk away or hand the cash over! MC_Bob
I exaggerated with round the corner, its about a 20-30 min drive. Otherwise checking it would be best. Im pretty sure itll fit ok, its just having to cut out the hole I suppose. Shouldnt really be too hard to do I shouldnt of thought. Cheers guys

Cheers guys at most it will just be move the exhaust around, just get a powerflex mount with various holes etc, sure you can make it fit! at 45 quid not that much to loose, if you dont like it smack it on ebay!
