i am looking to re shell my rs turbo. now, i can just put all the rs in to a mint bonus i have found and keep the bonus id, but dose any one know if i can just change my chassis number to the bonus one and use my reg off the rs? hope this makes sense

You can swap the engine over (with its number onto the logbook) and then move the number plate over.. you dont need to touch any chassis numbers.

You would use the log book from the Bonus, and declare the new engine it in.

 

Means the car is worth alot less than what an RST would be though, as it will be a Bonus. Id think about breaking the RST and buying another
