Carl160180 Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 1.6 to 1.8 is straight forward, basicaly exactly the same engine apart from the internals. Changing from a 1.8 to a 2.0 is a bit more involved as you have to swap over the oil pump, oil pickup pipe, water, pump, breather steup, injectors, throttle body, etc etc When you had you 1.6 to 1.8 swap did they change the ecu for a 1.8 one?
