onehotminute_191
i used to be able to turn the key to unlock, then lock and the indicators would flash and set the alarm. after a while that didnt happen but when unlocking the alarm would go off, even though it didnt set when locking it. i got remote locking and it can unlock the car but not lock. i did the alarm test and the drivers door microswitchs werent recognised but everything else was. i havent taken it off yet to test it up close but on the passenger door lock it was ok but still doesnt set the alarm, any idea what part is giving me agro? drivers microswitch. module. or a microswitch on the latch mechanism? cheers

Dont get me wrong fords have been my working life for many years ,and the majority of faults I have to repair on escorts is central locking related issues ,the ford remote locking system is expensive and un-reliable thats all
