Barry-334
can't say I've used them myself, but have only heard good things about them show us the pics when you've done it, so we can see the results for ourselves!
Mike C
Natty's, yes I recommend it Meguiar's clay kit, no chance, just about the worst clay there is! Buy Sonus Green Ultra Fine Clay and Sonus Glyde Clay Lube
danposs86
Well i'm not sure about claying just yet. Will get the wax, but found it on ebay cheaper. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=110259240656 Plus free applicator and microfibre lol
scortpower
i find the meguirs clay pretty good , so would recomend that
Mike C
i find the meguirs clay pretty good , so would recomend that try a better one and you'd be well impressed then Most of the pro detailers use Sonus and cheap as chips! It's the second best clay on the market behind Zymol Lehm, which is far more expensive and they give very similar results

Martin
Dan the next time I buy a clay bar it'll be Bilt Hamber Auto Clay! You use water as lube! I've heard the sonus glyde is pretty poor (although the clay is great) The megs quick clay kit is fine though and will make a big difference More info on BiltHamber products hereCheck out there autobalm! Mike C
Using water as clay lube is not a good idea. Clay cleans deep and water will cause tiny scratches and contaminate the paint You can make your own lube to use with any clay using a little car shampoo mixed with 0PPM purified water so as to avoid this, but as most people don't have a water purifier and wouldn't want to buy one, it's easier to use lube. 0PPM water and Zymol Auto Wash is a better lube than Glyde, but there's nothing wrong with Glyde
Ed_van_Dijk
its loads of effot claying your car tho isnt it? I just got meguires scratch X to get rid of all swirl marks and light scratches, seems quite good so far!
Trig
Alot of people are very, very happy with the Bilt Hamber clay, and value for money wise, its a big bar and you dont need to use lube, water is sufficient, which makes it even better value for money. Apparently the natty's paste wax isn't the most durable out there, but it is easier to apply. Have a browse on detailingworld and see what they think of the products. Mike C
its loads of effot claying your car tho isnt it? No, not at all, one of the easiest things there is Far less effort than using Scratch X Scratch X is one of the best things Meguiars do. You CAN get stuff that's 1000x better, but it's the easiest to use by hand that actually gives decent results You can use some of the better stuff by hand, but it takes a ridiculous amount of effort either way, you can't get close to what you can achieve with a rotary
Tez162003
i think megs is okay, i find on dirty cars it can get good results, on mine not so much as its been clayed twice in the last 6 months or so! claying isnt hard work at all, easier than polishing id say! spray on lube, rub over panel using opposite directions up/down then side to side to make sure you go over it all. wipe clean with cloth, if you car has never been clayed meg will make huge difference, but i will be trying sonus next for me, purely for experiemnting purposes! lol
Ed_van_Dijk
hmmm, anyone wanna put up a guide on how to clay your car then? Sounds like it might be worth while, I have just polished and waxed my car tho, will the clay take all that off again? When you clay do you need to use that speed detailer or whatever it is called?
