I know a few EVO members are waiting for this sequel & I managed to watch it a few nights ago (release date is Sept 8th).

Big fans of the original Lost Boys will probably enjoy this one and it does stand up on its own merits.

I didnt find it anywhere near as good as the first which was a true vanpire classic but it does pay good homage to the original with its new charactors.

The main character is plaid this time by kiefer sutherlands half brother Angus and tbh makes a good job of the part.

Corey Haim is credited in this film but only makes a very short 30 second appearance but Corey Feldmon does return as a main charactor Edgar Frog who plays the part true to the original.

This sequel follows the storey very close to the original with two new members of the Emerson family (brother & sister) but this time with the sister being the one to be seduced as a vampire.

Some good gore, vamipre scenes & one liners make up this film but as said dont quite live up to the original.

Big fans of the Lost Boys will enjoy the Tribe but will more than likely feel a tad let down & reach for the first installment for a fix lol.

Still worth a watch but i wouldnt pay money to watch, after such a long wait for a sequel a bit more thought could of gone into this.

I have a feeling it will be like the remake of Wargames, 300, Sin City and other films from the 70s/80s, the purists are going to say it sucks and they should give up remaking good films..
