Well here it is, my new project. :pancake: Austin Cambridge super

This is the only picture I have at the minute as it's not yet at my house.

My Grandad owned it from new, and now he has passed it on to me to sort out. I know it's nothing special, but wouldn't mind seeing it look nice again, as its pretty rotten on the outside. The inside is mint and underneath isn't too bad 'cos it was recently welded.

haha, enjoy :D

Thanks Sammi, it is certainly something different. Hopefully I can get it looking something like this again. Would be a shame to see it scrapped :(

It will look stunning once restored, my dad would KILL for it! He loves classic cars & restored an old Morris Minor that had no flooring or seats....looked so amazing when he finished it!!! Such a shame I don't have any pics of it, but he got it off of one of his great uncles that looked pretty much like your picture! I think they still have classic car shows down this way (Crystal Palace), I can find out when it is if you are interested in going for inspiration? I used to go there as a kid with my dad! xx

Can't help with the insurance tho!! But at a google-guess, http://www.adrianflux.co.uk?

x

Shut up you :P

You love it :)

I wanna see it too, Couldn't get it out the other day cos one of the tires is...well shagged

This week I'll put the new wheels and get it towed down to my house.

Sammi - there are lots of classic car shows up this end, already been to a couple. I must admit these cars look alot nicer in black, not this nasty grey. As for insurance adrian flux were who i was considering cos they pretty good with stuff that other insurers wouldn't look twice at.
