Posted July 20, 200816 yr well what a day, ive been looking for a good MK2 MX5 for ages. today had a quick look on the autotrader the one was their, i give the fella a ring when to see it, loved it and put a deposit down. so im not happy about that but im gutted the fiesta has to go, il most likey scrap it but i my take some bits off to flog that will hurt me doing it. anyway when i get it home il post some pics up.

July 21, 200816 yr Author il give you a list, make a tea and take a seat.staring from the front of the car.front lower pannel rotten renewbonnet needs spraying cam shaft seals need doing (i used patten parts)Oil pressure switch leaking and does not workNasty oil leak coming from the gear box (crank shaft seal I think) New bottom for the airbox New tensioner for aux belt noisy when warmEngine has done 146k miles so not worth itSteering column is wobbly (up down left to right)A fair old chip in the wind screen Hole in the passenger foot well and leaks water from somewhere Hole by the vin plate Hole in the transmission tunnel driver’s side where a gear lock used to be New sills *2New front wings *2Lots of holes breaking though on the floor Needs the front rear panel welded in (I have) Rear arches are like a Cadburys flake bar Has you can see a lot of work.
