okies, which version is needed to get it to work now ? Version 6 and what platform.

v6 is available for most smartphone/PDA platforms. but was released way before the iPhone.

 

There are reports from TomTom about a iPhone 3G application but the release date doesn't seem to appear on the site.

The version they will release will probably be v7... as TomTom seem to release a newer version to their standalone devices then release the last standalone software to mobile devices.

v8 is out on standalone... v7 is currently out for some platforms (Windows Mobile and I think Symbian UIQ3/3.1)

If I spot a "bootleg" version or beta I'll let you know!
