Windscreen claims usually don't affect your ncb as windscreen cover is usually a separate part of your policy.
July 22, 200816 yr most insurance companies will fix it and not lose your NCB BUT they wont give you the extra year when the policy finishes! so your a year out of pocket. i take it thats 73 quid repaired not replaced
July 22, 200816 yr the deal is = if your fully comp they will repair the chip FOC and if you need a new screen they will do it for the policy excess which is around £50 and it will not effect your no claims at all ,but of coarse if third party you pay for everything

Free chip repair or £75 replacement)

July 22, 200816 yr ring the council and tell them you went past a grasscutter or strimmer and it flicked up somink and hit your screen (make sure you see the cutter first to say where it was) they will come out on that day or next day and fix no q's asked had a friend do it
