does any body know how much rear window will cost to replace ?just had rear window taken out and two rear pasenger windows by some whacker reconed i tried to run his dog over,hes know in a cell cnut

if fully comp just the excess for it if not around £160 for the heated rear window

Thats crap news mate cant you get them from a scrap yard or someone breaking one they arent to hard to fit

Also you need to know what your doing as its a special glue thats used etc

 

I remove glass every day ,but would not recommend it to a novice

id be able to do it just wondered what its going to cost me.

To be honest i didnt know the back was bonded in i thought they where the same as the mk4 on the rear windscreen

some windscreen fitters will do it as a private job ,as most decent companys wont touch it unless you sign a disclaimer against it ,I used to charge £30 for a back window and £25 for a screen to fit

had a qoute for £138 for just rear heated screen.£55 for side windows.il be going to the breakers for side ones.
