well decided to do the car most bits are done just need a couple of hours and it will be ready for primer woo hoo started it 2nite at 6 and finished at 9.30 and most of the work is done no messing about in my garage lol

Awesome, good to see this getting the attention it deserves again

and the couler is goin straight black instead of ash black and im putting loads of metal flakes in the paint work so when it is sunny it should look good

nooo don't put flakes in it

if your going flat black do falt black, if you went for a pearl or metallic that'd be nice but i haven't seen a single car with flakes that didn't look a bit 90s max power

well that was my worry mate that it will look chavy so one way around it was to instead of actually using the flakes ive just got 1/2 lite corse silver and gonna add abit of that to the paint work to give it a silvery look when the sun dirrectly hits it it should look ok if not then back to the drawing board after ford fair and spray it black again lol

Just do it Panther black again mate, looks awesome when clean...

 

Looking forward to seeing this car again at Ford Fair, as im sure Dave is, bring back some memories. Seems so long ago that it was parked outside my house with mine.

yep still got them on but have bought a new set for it but they need a bit of work so its just gonna be on refurbed compos for ford fair

 

its not panther black it was ash black slight differnce nuffin much tho lol bit to late i have aready bought the paint neally hit the floor when they told me the price thank god i was trade or it would of cost neally 500 quid just for paint got it for 200 all in so not goona go and buy more paint for it now lol

That will probably look better than flakes now you mention it

You've got some balls doing this a week before ford fair, mate. I've been screwing about having to repaint my rear spoiler but thats nothing compared to this. Look forward to seeing it in the metal

plan is paint it monday night fit it all back 2gether tuesday night hoover it wedensday polish it thursday night ready to pull out of garage friday night for boat saturday morning that is the plan will probally be fitting bumpers in queue for boat lol on saturday morning

I have to say mate hat of to you for doing this a week before show time. I am really looking forward to seeing this car int he flesh. Although I liked the multi spoke wheels
