hi all i have a 1800zetec and usually all is well but just recently when im driving along i get a misfire and when u put ur foot down the power isnt there straight away ive changed the plugs for new 1s they r now ngk platinum and new ht leads for bosch 1s but the problem is still there cud it b a sensor somewhere causing my problems any ideas cheers

i had that once mate, mine was due to a vacuum hose collapsing under load,

 

right hand side of the engine in between the block and the lead, its a L piece rubber hose, pain to find have a gd look behind there mate
