got a set of chrome suspension tops,

 

can i just put the spring compressors on whilst the suspension is still attached to the car, rather than taking everything off just to put a top on?

i never bothered i just took th enut off while it was on the car, and replaced them with no compressors lol

 

i have coilovers tho dunno if thats alright for standard shocks springs etc.

 

but i doubt the spring could launch a car in the air

i just didnt want to get a smack in the face, theory thinking, take the nut off and the strut cover off the car should not move at all

infact it should be fine for sure, as the tops are bolts anyway via the 3 bolts, and the weight of the car compresses it, just go try it losen bolt if strut top goes wobbly after losening your fine, go for it, 2 minute job!
