Posted July 26, 200816 yr Ok i know its not an escort but i know u guys can help me and to be honnist i only ike this forum, anyway, i have a pug 307, and when i switch the ingistion off and then start it bck up my radio statsion do not save???? i was told a wire needs to be connected or sumot? also i have a dvd player in the front and it says connect the wire to the hand brake thing, but im sooo stuck please help guys xx

July 26, 200816 yr get a voltmeter, turn your engine off, connect the voltmeter and a wire (not speaker wire etc - soemone may know a colour but I don't - possibly a single colour) if your voltmeter reads a current whilst the engine is off - this is your permanent live! Label it! Do the same with a different wire, if you find there is no current while the ignition is off, turn the igintion on if the current then flows this is your remote. Swap these two into the cd player. (I'm guessing you loose wired the cd player and did not use the connection adapters?) Again this is what I think you do ....
