July 27, 200816 yr urgh, another bouncy needle topic lol search before asking guys however, cheack the speedo cable isnt lose at both ends, try replacing the cable, it might have a kink or something in it

July 27, 200816 yr mine did this when i was doing a constant 70mph on the motorway, soon as it dropped below 40 it bounced like a bugger pushed the cable back in through the engin bay and checked it was all tight and aint had any problems since the speedo cable is the grey one that runs from the bulkhead into the dash on mine
July 28, 200816 yr mine did this when i was doing a constant 70mph on the motorway, soon as it dropped below 40 it bounced like a bugger pushed the cable back in through the engin bay and checked it was all tight and aint had any problems since the speedo cable is the grey one that runs from the bulkhead into the dash on mine it can also be the diff bearings as mine was its where the drive to the speedo cable is not quite engaging with the other gears.. Not an easy job to do eitherMerv
