Carl160180
Yep deffo radiator fan plug, there should be a sensor/switch in the top raditor pipe that goes to the side of the cylinder head, there's 2 types of switch on escort's, ones that have that connector and ones with a square connector with 3 pins in it. If your's has the square type connector and the plug is plugged in then I would'nt worry too much about it as ford will have used a "all for one" loom with both types of plug fitted so this won't be needed
EssexMikeSi
I noticed that on mk6 escorts ive had in past, i think mines up by the passenger side headlight, i heard its to be plugged into if they want the fan to go constantly when in the garage or whatever. Mine has a couple of plugs with nothing plugging into on that side, i just cable tied them up under the slam panel.
