That VR6 golf was . Very loud. Gutted i couldnt stay the rest of the day. Pics will be up soon probably. Thought it was a great day apart from it being fcuking freezing. Neil from fastford was there covering the event for the magazine, top bloke He was really impressed with what i had done to the car, saying it looks like a mini maxi. Nice guy to talk too, he interviewed us before and after our cars had there power runs. Then we had our pictures took alongside our cars, all good stuff. All our cars did pretty well considering what they are, Dans escort cossie was the best of the day iirc, that sounded great and looked immaculate . Dave W had his saph on, Wayne had his three door and mk1 XR2, was well impressed with the mk1 There were some nice cars there, a golf VR6 with 400+ bhp was strapped on when we got there, when they ran that the noise nearly made your bleed, ive never heard a car sound like that, it was something else. There wer EVO's, scoobies, a skyline, some old skool golfs knocking around the workshop and car park. All in all i had a great day and its something that we should consider doing again next year. Thanks to the organisers and everyone who made the effort to be there whether it was to run or just watch. Ive got loads of pics and i'll get them up later, Dan if you read this can you post that pic up you took of my car?? Now, the reason why we went = POWER, Mine ran 123.7bhp at the flywheel and torque was 114.12. Was a pretty good turn out. Good too see everyone and had a good laugh. Nice to meet old and new faces - sorry if i didnt get a chance to speak to you, as my voice was going - now its compleatly gone. Thanks to everyone that turned up, and to Neil from Fast Ford for comming along to cover it. I had to shoot off at 3.30, but i know theres a few going on for a night out.
