Simonez
yo guys, just a quick pic, and a lil write up! my gf bought me a lil karcher Jetwash for xmas, and a Snow foam lace also! so off i went, after speaking to joe about how much stuff to use, now i havnt bought any Snowfoam liquid, as there isnt no need so i got told so i use some Duragloss 901 shampoo, (2 caps, mixed with warm water) had a play about, fine tuning so to say with the lance, wanted a steady flow of foam and came out quite well! well worth the money and recommend to anyone! still need to fine tune the lance and find the right dilution ratio and should be onto a winner! heres a couple of pics! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v123/simonez/DSCF5222.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v123/simonez/DSCF5223.jpg covered the whole car, not bad for a first attempt, and just using a duragloss 901 solution and warm water! no full car pictures unfortunatly, but it was white! as u can tell by the spray and on the floor around the car! gotta get the dilution ratio right, and the have a proper play with the lance settings to make it thicker left to dwell for 5-10mins to see how it performed, and was impressed! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v123/simonez/DSCF5224.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v123/simonez/DSCF5225.jpg then rinsed off, and was impressed, a non contact wash, which got rid of light muck on the motor! the megs nxt 2.0 wax is holding up well go get a snowfoam lance! and a small karcher pressure washer! great fun! si Edited January 2, 2009 by Simonez

nick_ov_uk
looks like the same type of thing petrol stations have, like when you press the shampoo button. does it properly clean the car if it does is sounds just right as my car being so low gets coverd in crap to quick. im getting sick of washing it. hicksy
Ive wanted one of these for a while too Does it really do that good 'a' job, that you dont need to touch the car?
Simonez
it does work mate! but that was just with shampoo in the lance, with warm water, not the best mixture, but only wanted to test and see how it came out, came out alrite get some proper ph neutral snow foam and will be a thick foam, which cleans alot better during the dwelling period, where the shampoo just seemed to run off the car, where the proper snowfoam mixture holds on to the paintwork longer and a good wax really helps protect the car, ive found it so much easier to clean, preped the paintwork with some SRP then applied 2 coats of megs nxt 2.0 wax, and its holding up well *hicksy* it depends on how well the car is protected etc, with the right paint prep work, and various waxs, washing becomes easier, and in some cases a touch free clean, which is what the scooby has at the moment, ill get a pic tomorrow to show how it looks after a non contact wash, it had a light covering of dirt, but it got rid of it Edited January 2, 2009 by Simonez

Shiner
Nice one si, as you said, touch less washes all depends on the protection. My 4 layers of 105 allows touch less washes. 901 won't clean as much as AB Surfex etc, but does a good job. Prefect pre wash
