ChrisPeers1
I'm 28 so i've had a few and its all gone very roundabout! At 17 i bought my mum's Peugeot 106 XN in white. Cracking little car, great handling and great fun to drive. At 19 i got a Renault Clio 1.2 16V thought it was great until the gearbox fellout at 6000 miles new. That went back to renault. Buggered off travelling for a year and bought a Toyota Coralla 1.6 to drive round Audtralia in. Boring but reliable. On my return from travelling due to being car less bought a Mk3 Golf Gti 8v that had been modified. Loved it, wish I had never sold it. Then put that towards a brand new Mitsubishi Warrior which depreciated in value so much in 6 months I was in negative equity on it. (Lost £7000) Got rid of that and bought 2 Skoda Fabia Vrs's (Awesome, Awesome machine's, beat my mates Pug 206 GTi180 in a race to wales) left him for dead through the gears on Motorway. Then I upgraded both of those to a Skoda Octavia Vrs 170PD which has more torque than a Porshe Boxter S and was just stupid quick, had a lot of faults with it though considering it was new. Got unlucky with tyres and had to repalce four in a month at a cost of £500. Cost me a fortune to run in the middle of the credit crunch. Had to sell it to make ends meet and now.............well!!..... A Mk6 Ford Escort GTi 5 Door of course cost me a £1000. Needs a Shite load of money spending on it to get it through its MOT next month though!!. I'm not very good at this buying cars lark.
