Craig855S
yeah u have to be able to get an impreza in 1/18 from one of the good manufacturers,if u cant get it in black having it repainted would be not too expensive..having a custom one made with the rear afterburner lights etc though will not be cheap, not in the slightest Im on nights too, need to get ready soon

Mike C
There's a long thread on PassionFord about people who have modified some Die Cast models. Some talented modellers on there. I bought an E36 Coupe shell and some parts a while back off eBay, but not done anything with them yet. Not easy to get the rest of the parts. An easier option would be 1/24 scale plastic models. They're easier to work with and modify. Done a bit with the myself, and have picked up a 2004 Pontiac GTO kit with the intention of doing a modified build with (it's virtually the same car as a Monaro). It would be possible to build a MK6 Escort from a Tamiya Escort Cosworth 1/24 scale plastic kit (Tamiya are the best). It would take a lot of work though. Some people have done exact, and I mean exact replicas of loads of modded cars with 1/24 kits. Has to be seen to be believed. Takes many hours of work though! Gazzaboy
I know you say you would go get one straight away, but I always thought that untill I actually found one of my car, £50 before postage kinda put me off.

Mike C
No MK6 model has ever been made. Only ones of the similar shape are Cosworth. So anyone wanting a MK5 or 6 would have to adapt one of those. You can get a die cast 1/43 (iirc) scale 5 door MK5 and MK3 Orion. That's the only other one about.
