Naylor2006
Down here in devon the roads are really appauling in the residential areas, town aint so bad neither is the beach strip but thats only cause its newish. Driving down my parents road is like that scene in Ace Venture, you know where hes faking a bumpy road. Im not sure those speed bumps would work to well for me, my cars super low, see here, and its not my bumper that causes the problems, its more the cat and front silencer that take a scrape. Im not sure how they work but if u hit them slow does that mean they flatten until ur rear wheels pass over them? My girl hates me for how low my car is, well thats a bit extreme but if decide to go somewhere for the day on roads i dont know, might get half way there and have to turn and find a new route. On one day trip (totally my mistake cant believe how stupid i was) we wanted to dartmouth casle, went down the tight sorta 1 way road and was at the front of the queue waiting for the car ferry. Took one look at the angle of entry and thought 'fk that!', i pissed alot of people off that day, ended up parking and getting the people ferry across. Theres two shell stations around here local and on the entrance and exit there are two of those thin rubbery style bumps, i simply cant get petrol there and i bet theres loads of modders who wanna get V POWER. I guess we all have to pay the price for having lowered cars, if we have a problem then we lowered a car from its stock position so its our fault, having said that what about supercars, ther low as hell, its discrimination against people who have low cars rather than a safety feature. What would you rather, speed cameras where speedbumps are of speedbumps? Id rather the camera cause on the roads you really can cain it on arnt the sort of places where speedbumps are anyway. Sorry for the rant, did i mention i hate fking speedbumps!!!
Danzetec
Won't ever happen due to cost of intallation and maintainence, and it would only appeal to a minority. Which is a shame because these guys have obviously put some effort in to designing this solution
