EssexMikeSi
I just wondered if its a case of a relay needing to just be plugged in or something. My old 98R Gti would flash them when u double locked it, yet my current R reg si doesnt do this. Just wondered if anyones found the same. My mates gti doesnt flash either. My gti had no upgraded alarm or anything on it though. Edited March 12, 2009 by EssexMikeSi

lightning1988
if i unlock it from one side then lock on the other it wont double lock, it takes a while to get it to double look after tht

mogbad
mine flashes, up to one month ago it only flashed when locked from drivers side but not on passenger side (also caused a my ford RCL not to work), so after alot of searching I found out that the passenger door lock sensor was buggered, so I replaced that and now the RCL works! (woohoo) and flashes when locked from both sides.
Squiz
If it doesnt flash its cos your relays arent fitted......Use two small brown relays (same as your headlight relays)And fit them in the cradle sat on inner wing behind drivers side kick panel. If you only fit one you can make it so either drivers side or kerbside indicators flash I found it by trial and error and wrote about it ages ago oh and yeah escortNregs flash cos thats the car I did it to

StewLX
Mine flashes, but only from the passenger side so I'm guessing the switch is knackered on the drivers side. Will have to sort that one day. Out of interest is it just a switch or has it got a receiver for the transponder in the key?
