DJ
right ive managed to fit my remote central locking well its wired up and working just need to tidy up and hide the wires. i even got the indicators to flash aswell so im well chuffed as im an absolute noob with this kinda of stuff. one last question. below is a picture of the unit ive used. there are a couple of wires that have not been used. is it possible that one of them could go to the horn so that when i activate the central locking that the horn will beep aswell? http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj119/djdane73/DSC00315.jpg this is whats not been used.............. the 2 orange ones as i was told they should be cut short and taped up. the plain red one and the pink one have been tied together to create a loop (as i was told this aswell) the wiring must be correct as its all working well. im just wondering if one of the above can go to the horn? sorry...................... its the red/black and pink that are tied together Edited March 12, 2009 by DJ
Bravo81
Split an output to one of the doors? One to the door mech and one to the horn then ground the horn. Should just bib when locking/unlocking. Edited March 12, 2009 by Bravo81

marc_gti
i reckon this time you will blow up the unit and will need to send it back and get another one.... i would not even try it
Bravo81
Well surely one of them wires go to each of your motors that you installed on the doors? One power for each door & one negative. Split the power to the main drivers door so it goes to the motor and the horn.then ground the horn on your body or negative. It should just bib when you lock/unlock your door. Good luck! 123-escortgti
The wires weren't sided were they? Just connected to the wires from the central locking module, not 2 wires to each door.
