tyre pressure

are the tyre pressures written on the side of the tyre an INSTRUCTION on what psi the tyre should be at or a GUIDELINE on what the tyre can go up to?

The pressures shown on the side walls are the MAX pressures that can be put in them.

Have a look on the inside of your petrol flap, your pressures maybe there or in your manual
