Tez162003
One thing i have come to learn since being on this forum is that theres not much better out there than fords own parts, problem is there cost a fortune, i would only ever use ford parts for engine parts and wishbones etc, but i wanted to know if Quinton Hazell parts are okay for these items, granted they may not last as many years as Fords own but there okay for some time? onehotminute_191
ive used QH for many parts, including wishbones and the other 3 you mentioned. i only used ford engine parts when buying brand new (or parts from the breakers) if you do some research and speak to the right people you might find that 2 completely different branded parts can be made from the same machine. 2 different prices for the same part. and either way, brand like QH make their parts to the same standard as ford use so why would you pay £120 or whatever for wishbones when you could get the pair for £40 by QH that could be the same thing? try out some QH wishbones and see what you think. its the only way to make a true comparison oh and just to mention, for thing like gaitors that are about £10 each from ford i wouldnt even bother to buy anything else. certain parts arent worth the hassle of shopping around for and some parts you want to get the right part from ford.
