EscortNreg
Right, to bring you up to speed quickly, so far this year i have only worked about 5 12 hour shifts for my company as "they have no hours available" Now i get a phonecall earlyer today askingme to do a weekend work at acollegei used to work as.. They said it was a baby sitting shift asthe person that was working is not SIA registered etc etc So i accepted the shifts... Then this evening i was ironing my trousers and it clicked.... they have employed a non licenced person to do 5 shifts a week at a college im trained to work at... EVEN though they know im desperate for work asi have a kid and another on the way.... I have no money in the bank anymore as i have had tospendall my savings (as you can imagine.. im not gonna get much money from only 5 shifts..... Its funny how i have no hours sincei had a bit of an argument with the person that issues hours.... So i phoned up the control office tonight and he confirmed wha i thought.... The person i had an argument with employed a non liceced person to do the shifts.... So... See why im fucked right off??? lol How many times has he doen this before without me knowing? Does this sound like constructive dismisal to you?? If so... how do i go about suing the vaginas??? Edited March 13, 2009 by EscortNreg

DJ
get in touch with SIA !!!! they were doing "operation cornflower" last year trying to find companies that were people with no licence. they found loads and huge fines were handed out and a couple of companies folded. one lad i know found out that a foreigner had been using his licence details for a year !! if you have a licence you should be getting the work !! these licences cost anything from £250 upwards and if you had to pay for your own you must be fuming ! hope you sort something out

EscortNreg
Ha ha! Cheers bud! Vaginas sounds great! Vagina always sounds great tome man...One of my top words... Along with Gush or gushing... Best word in theworld.... FACT!!!! Anyway back to subject... I have reported the company (Eagle Hoburne Security) to the SIA for... Employing people with no licnece, employing people without correct checks, and having guards monitor CCTV without the SIA CCTV licence. I have also called up and told them i am not working this weekend and i will be handing in my notice on monday. Why should i go work a shift with a non-licenced person so if the police/SIA turn up i can say im the only person working....

Craig855S
I have no idea what this topic i about lol. Does this unlicensed guy need to get time in before he can get his license or should he either have a license or not work in that job at all? BTW whats the pay like in this job..as i'd be able to do the training and get the license with a huge discount and it sounds like quite a quiet job that would be good after i leave the RAF (if the pay is amazing ill leave sooner than later) Im always on the lookout for a slack job that pays well lol

They brought the liecence in to try and sort out the security industry and a good idea IMO, except the cost which is harsh to some people!
Craig855S
well if they dont wanna pay for the license then they should go and stack shelves or summut Jobs worth having require u to get some qualifications, and if thats just a piece of paper then u need to do it
