marcus
Should i do the whole lot including the base plates or should i just go upto the bit where the joint on the morror is. if anybody has pictures of this done either way, they would be much appreciated. oh yes, i bought some clear side repeaters from Helfords and they did not fit properly in the groove, has anybody else had this problem and where did you get yours from CheersMarcus

ANT
when i had mine done i did'nt have the base plates done as i think it looks better, however i have seen a few cars on here with them done and they look good too it is really u'r opinion on which to have, Sime73 & Pete both have red cars with them colour coded, have a look at theirs and see what u think

Cabrio Zo
Hmm dunno, standard colour coded mirrror are only up the the joint. I got my side repeaters from a stall at Ford Fair couple years ago and fit fine Z

Lee R
the car is radient red no then, on a red car, coloured base plates only look good with aftermarket mirrors imo
marcus
OK then i will just do upto the joint bit and see what it looks like Marcus
Crumpy
Just go up to the join and see what you think. If you like it as it is then dont do the base plate but if you think it would look better then colour code the plate as well. Personally on both my 3 doors ive left the base plate and had the mirrors colour coded.

Colin
Personally i think get yourself a set of m3 mirrors for only £35 + plates £12 and have em all colour coded and then have the ones on the back window colour coded and get some red tinted windows.................... ******** Ow thank god, i needed that, sorry, i started talking about red tinted windows again didn't I? Sorry people, theres a hankering within me to get it done................ Maybe not then......
