muzzy
Hmmm not sure. dont know the layout of a 1.8 engine bay but i got a 1.6 zetec and i installed a k&n air filter the other month. I had to remove the air box completely and feed the cold air pipe down & infront of the gear bocx and down under my front bumper. Have you followed the insructions? I know there allways cr*p. Try and feed the air pipe stright to the front grill on the car. u got a engine pic?
Mike RS2300
The instructions were a pile of crap but hey, its easy enough, just wasnt sure as they didnt have the viper fitted in the provided pic just a standard pipercross. I have a few pics, want me to mail them to you?Did you notice much drive difference?

The man diffence is it revs a bit higher at the top end of every gear. but sounds well.

clivejohn
i fitted it my 1.8 you have to feed the ram pipe down the side of the rad and onto thelower grill. its a tight fit but it will go. get it on a rolling road for a quick set up then it will make a difference
